Paranormal Mysteries

In addition to reading cards and crystals I also read books, lots of books. As Cozy Up With Kathy I have a mystery blog where I have reviews, author interviews, guest posts, and more.

On Cozy Up With Kathy my focus is cozy mysteries, although I read and feature other genres as well. Cozy mysteries are those mysteries that don’t include gratuitous sex and violence. There generally is a murder, but it happens off stage, so to speak, and the descriptions are not graphic. The protagonist is usually an amateur sleuth and the setting is generally a small town or community. A cornucopia of themes exist in the cozy world, from culinary to fashion, sports, gardening, crafts, and the paranormal.

Did you know that there are a lot of paranormal mysteries out there? You can find books featuring witches, vampires, psychics, ghosts, and more! I’m excited about a new series coming out in May that will feature fairies! Some of these books embrace the paranormal, some are skeptical, and some are more realistic than others.
