Crystals, Cards, and Oils

Welcome to Katreader’s journey with crystals, cards, and oils.

What is it about crystals that so enthralls us? Is it the glittery beauty that attracts us? Not entirely as we also find beauty in raw gems, unpolished and plain. We also admire simple stones we encounter on an everyday walk. Like most things, there’s much more to crystals and gems than outward beauty. Crystals have meaning, whether worn as adornments, carried for luck, or used in technology. When giving a crystal reading I interpret messages intuitively while sharing the universal meanings of the stones.

The symbolism of Tarot cards goes back centuries, but their meaning resonates today. Cards can be beautiful and terrifying. I admit, some cards I bought just for the gorgeous artwork and some for their uniqueness. Cards exist in a multitude of themes from angels and cats to Sherlock Holmes and gummy bears! I have a wide range of Tarot decks, both traditional and modern, as well as a multitude of oracle cards. I intuitively read the cards but am guided by the traditional meanings as well.

Scent plays an important part in our life. One whiff can bring back a memory and transport you to another time and place. I combine essential oils, as well as some absolutes and hydrosols, to make blends with meanings. I look at their metaphysical connections, their angelic and chakra correspondences, as well as scent notes to create uplifting blends. In addition, I add corresponding crystals to amplify the vibrations and infuse the oil with crystal power. You can use these blends as a focal point in meditation or prayer, as a perfume, to anoint candles or other objects, or to simply smell and enjoy the scent. Let me be perfectly clear, I am NOT a doctor. I do not give out medical advice. I make no claims that essential oils can heal or prevent illnesses. That being said, I find them very beneficial for a variety of reasons.
